Information Session: Monday 11th Novmeber 2019  930 -11:30
Course dates:  Monday 18th & Tuesday 19th November 2019 9am - 5pm

The information session will  provide you with more detail about the course before you enrol.

On this Mental Health First Aid two day course, you will learn to spot the signs and symptoms of mental health and provide help on a first aid basis.

At the end of the course, you will know more about how to:

  • spot the triggers and signs of mental health
  • have confidence to reassure and support a person in distress
  • exercise non-judgemental listening skills
  • help someone to recover by guiding them to appropriate support
  • raise awareness and reduce stigma of mental health

You must attend the information session where we will provide further information about the course. 

Places are limited and registering your interest and attending the information session does not guarantee a place on the course.


Eligibility criteria

Learners must be aged 19 or over to be eligible for this course.

The course is being funded through Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust (NHS) CCG to help raise awareness and reduce stigma

Arleston Community centre is a registered charity.  The venue is fully accessible, has a large well equiped Kitchen and car parking for approximetly 15 cars. There are a couple of local shops including a newsagents a short walk away
