Traditional Patchwork

During the activity welcoming and friendly staff will offer support to learners to:
• Explore two types of traditional patchwork techniques
• Learn how to hand stitch patchwork pieces
• Use recycled fabrics and embroidery threads
• Gain information on courses with Learn Telford and support to enrol
• All materials will be provided on this course.

Places are limited and registering your interest and attending the information session does not guarantee a place on the course.

The session is designed to introduce people to the services and support we can provide and although it is a Drop-in session, by expressing your interest and enrolling for the session will enable us to provide suitable and adequate resources and refreshments on the day.

Eligibility criteria

Free to anyone wishing to receive advice, information on courses and learning opportunities. 

Anyone aged 19 years and over.

Venue and accessibility

In response to following the government guidance for COVID-19, the centre has put in place measures to make the Centre as secure and safe as they can.

Therefore, all visitors must wear a face mask on entry and exit of the building. If arriving early, they must wait outside the building until the session start time and the team will give them further instructions when to enter.

You must inform the staff at the centre immediately of anyone is showing symptoms or testing positive for corona virus.
