Course overview

This course is intended for people who do not already have a Level 2 qualification in English and wish to gain a qualification in English functional skills.

This course is aimed at Entry Level learners.

We offer four levels of English functional skills from Entry 2 through to Level 2. There is opportunity to progress from entry levels to level 1 and 2.

Come along and find out more about our English Functional Skills courses from our experienced tutors. You will be asked to undertake a short skills assessment to help us advise you on an appropriate course. If you have certificates for any English qualifications already, bring them with you to the information session.

Our functional skills courses are offered across Telford in community venues. We run morning and afternoon sessions during school term time only. Courses are offered at different levels and are intended to provide an opportunity to work towards a City and Guilds qualification in Functional Skills English. During the information and advice session, the tutor will explain more about our courses and advise you of options for courses that are appropriate for you.

Please do not register your interest on more than one functional skills English course.
