This accredited course is intended for learners who have completed the Supporting Children’s Learning Level 1 course and want to continue their learning by progressing to a Level 2 Award. The course is a next step for people who are preparing to work with children but is also valuable in helping parents support their own children to learn.
By successfully completing this course you will have the opportunity to achieve a Level 2 Award in Employability and Development Skills (Childcare Pathway).
You will need to have completed the Level 1 Supporting Children’s Learning to be able to enrol on this course or have relevant previous experience working with children.

In this FREE hands-on practical course you will be learning the principles of writing computer programs, also called coding, using two methods - a visual 'drag and drop' program called 'Scratch' and Python which uses everyday language to create programs.
This FREE course will help you develop the skills you need to use search and apply for jobs online. You'll be introduced to job search websites and shown how to refine searches to areas of interest. There will be advice on online networks and using online platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom that are often part of recruitment processes.
