Successful Turnout at Access to HE Information Event Inspires Next Steps into Higher Education

Over 30 prospective learners gathered for an inspiring Access to Higher Education (HE) Information Event, where they explored new possibilities for their academic and career futures. The event, designed to introduce adults to the flexible routes available into university study, offered an in-depth look at our Access to HE courses.

Attendees had the chance to learn about the structure and benefits of the programmes, ask questions, and engage with tutors and current students. The session proved to be a resounding success, with many individuals submitting their applications immediately after attending.

The Access to HE courses are specifically tailored for adults who are considering a return to education or a complete career change. With three pathways to choose from—Health Science Professions, Psychology, and Education—the courses provide a solid foundation for those aiming to progress into university-level study and beyond.

The event also featured contributions from past learners Steph and Michelle, who shared their experiences of returning to education and progressing to university. Our tutors led informative presentations on each of the course options, and representatives from the University of Wolverhampton were present to offer guidance on student finance and eligibility.

The session provided not only valuable advice and inspiration, but also a tangible first step for many adults now ready to begin their journey into higher education.
