Course overview

This information session is for people who do not already have a Level 2 qualification in English and wish to gain a qualification in English functional skills.

Our functional skills courses are offered across Telford in community venues. We run morning and afternoon sessions during school term time only.  We offer four levels of English functional skills from Entry 2 through to Level 2.  At each level, learners have the opportunity to work towards a City and Guilds qualification in Functional Skills English and can progress up to Level 2.

Come along and find out more about our English Functional Skills courses from our experienced tutors.  If you have certificates for any English qualifications already, bring them with you to the information session.  You will be asked to undertake a short skills assessment to help us advise you on an appropriate course.
