Would you like to have fun experimenting with making delicious toasties and take home your own FREE toastie maker?
This FREE 1-day cooking course will give you an opportunity to make toasties and other sweet or savoury meals using a range of ingredients to suit different tastes and diets.
During the session you will also develop money-saving and cookery skills, including how to be creative with leftover foods to make tasty fillings, and ways to help cut food costs for families of all sizes.
This course is supported by Multiply funding. Multiply is the Government funded campaign within the Skills for Life Strategy aimed at supporting adults to improve their skills and confidence with everyday maths. The Tasty Toasties course will help you to brush up on your numeracy skills while developing your cookery skills and meeting new people in a relaxed environment
All cooking ingredients and equipment will be provided free of charge. At the end of the course we will give you your own appliance to practise your skills at home. The make and model may vary.
Before the course begins, the tutor will contact you to confirm a place and check for any special dietary or support needs to ensure that the course is suitable for you. We will endeavour where possible to meet your needs.
Look out for an acknowledgement email from us. Please check your email spam and inbox. This will provide the link to the online enrolment form you will need to complete for the course.
We understand it can be difficult for you to take the first steps and try something new so on the first day of the course, our friendly tutor will talk to you about the course and offer some useful information and advice.

Learners must be aged 19 or over from 1st August 2022.
Unfortunately you will not be eligible to enrol on this course if you live in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley, Solihull or Birmingham.
The course is FREE for those who are eligible to enrol on the course.
If you have any Covid symptoms please let your tutor know and do not attend your class until you feel better.
Dawley Social Club is located in King Street, Dawley with free car parking. There isn’t a café on site but there are local shops in the centre of Dawley, which is a short walk away. The building is wheelchair accessible.
