This FREE course provides an introduction to spreadsheets using Microsoft Office Excel.

This course is suitable for learners with some ICT experience who would like an introduction to using Excel. The sessions will provide realistic exercises, helping you to see how spreadsheet skills can be applied in the workplace and at home.

The course will support you to:

• Become familiar with the layout and terminology used in Excel.
• Know how to store, sort, and filter data, making it more efficient and easier to use.
• Carry out mathematical operations, ensuring results are consistent and accurate and can be easily reproduced.

The course will help you to brush up on your numeracy skills while developing your ICT skills in a supportive environment.

You will enjoy learning in an informal and friendly environment with an experienced tutor. Learners with any special needs can discuss these with the tutor at enrolment to ensure that the course is suitable or can be adapted for their needs.

Places on this course are limited to the number of computers available at the venue.

Learners must be aged 19 or over (as of 1st August 2022) and not have a level 2 maths qualification.

Unfortunately you will not be eligible to enrol on this course if you live in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley, Solihull or Birmingham.

The course is FREE to those who are eligible to enrol on the course.
