This FREE course will show you how to cook meals which are easy and practical to make at home. You will cook a different meal each week inspired by different regions of the world.
Get Cooking is a hand-on course suitable for those wanting to build their confidence in the kitchen and develop essential cookery skills. The course will also provide advice and activities to help you to budget your meals to be both affordable and tasty.
Come along to cook under the guidance of our experienced tutor in a friendly and informal environment.
All cooking ingredients and equipment will be provided on this course.

This course will help you to brush up on some of the numeracy skills that are essential for cooking, including budgeting and using weights and measures.
This is a 3-week course.

We understand it can be difficult for you to take the first steps and try something new so on the first day of the course, our friendly tutor will talk to you about the course and offer some useful information and advice.
Before the course we will contact you to confirm your place, check for any special dietary or support needs to ensure that the course is suitable or can be adapted.
Look out for an acknowledgement email from us. Please check your email spam and inbox. This will provide the link to the online enrolment form you will need to complete for the course.

Learners must be aged 19 or over from 1st August 2022.
Unfortunately you will not be eligible to enrol on this course if you live in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley, Solihull or Birmingham.
