Course overview

This course is provided as a progression for women who have children who attend Short Wood Primary School.

This course is for parents who do not have English as a first language. You  will learn English in a fun and relaxed environment with an experienced tutor. 

You will learn English in a fun and relaxed environment with an experienced tutor. This course is aimed at those wishing to improve their English language skills to help with day to day situations, specifically in relation to Health/Visiting the Doctor/Dentist/Hospital. Conversation practice, reading important documents and writing sentences will all be covered. This course is unaccredited.

 

Session details

You will need to have at least 80% attendance to achieve completing this course.

Eligibility criteria

This course is provided as a progression for women who have children who attend Short Wood Primary School.

This course is aimed at those who have attended the first two courses at Short Wood Primary and are wishing to advance their English language skills to help with day to day situations. Conversation practice, reading important documents and writing sentences will all be covered.

What to Do Next

Learners will have opportunity to progress onto an accredited ESOL courses in the community or in the school in September.
