For parents who have a child at Donnington Wood Infants School.

This fun and informal course provides an opportunity for parents to work collaboratively to produce a school wall mural to celebrate all the Families at DW Infants. 

Aims of the Programme; To provide an opportunity for learners to explore a range of crafting techniques • To encourage learners to think creatively  • To encourage learners to work collaboratively and have fun • To provide a relaxed, friendly space for learners to interact with each other • To support Wellbeing

All craft materials will be provided for each session.

 

 

You must attend the information and enrolment session to enrol on this course.

You MUST commit to all 6 sessions in order to successfully complete this course.

Adult only course

For parents who have a child at Donnington Wood Infants School.

Parents do not need any previous experience. Any parents with special needs can discuss these with the tutor at enrolment to ensure that the course is suitable or can be adapted for their needs. The course is available to all adults who have children in the school. If numbers applying for the course are high, preference will be given to parents who:

• do not hold a Level 2 maths or English qualification
• are unemployed or retired
• are claiming Job Seekers' Allowance
• are employed and looking to progress onto further Family Learning courses
• are parents/carers of children/young people who are entitled to free school meals
• have been referred to the course for the purposes of improving their mental health and wellbeing
