Would you like to learn more about mindfulness and how it could help in day-to-day life? Whether mindfulness is new to you or you have some experience, this FREE course offers the chance to tune into mindfulness.
Mindfulness can help you to notice the present moment, especially your thoughts, emotions and the world around you. It can help you to feel calmer, less anxious and appreciate things you may take for granted.
Practicing mindfulness in day-to-day life is recommended as one of the ways of looking after our own mental health. Some of the benefits can include learning to suspend judgment and experiencing kindness towards ourselves and others.
During the short course you will be introduced to mindfulness and shown how you could integrate it in everyday life. You will be introduced to meditation techniques and other practices such as mindful moments.
The course is taught in an informal and friendly environment with an experienced tutor.
At the first session your tutor will ask you to complete an enrolment form. Please bring a form of photo ID with you to the course.
