Course overview

Our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses provide an opportunity to improve your English reading, writing and speaking skills and work towards a City and Guilds qualification up to Level 2.  They are for adults aged 19+ who have English as an additional language.  Our Autumn 2025 courses will be launched later this year.  In the meantime, if you register your interest a member of our team will get in touch to discuss courses with you.

If you are not a native English speaker, our ESOL courses, are especially for adults who have English as an additional language.

If you haven't attended one of our ESOL courses already, before you join a course you will be asked to undertake a short skills assessment to help us advise you on an appropriate course.

Session details

Each course runs for about 12 weeks in the  Autumn, Spring and Summer terms each year. Courses are available at a range of skill levels and at community venues across Telford and Wrekin.

If we cannot offer you a place on your preferred course, we may be able to offer a course at another of our community venues in Telford.
