This accredited course gives you the opportunity to work towards a City & Guilds Entry Level qualification or English Skills Award up to Level 1.
Come along to meet our experienced tutors and find out more about the course. If you haven’t attended one of our courses before, you’ll complete a short skills assessment so we can recommend the most suitable level for you.
The English Skills Awards are portfolio-based, meaning you will build a workbook of assessments throughout the course. You can achieve an award in Writing, Reading, or Speaking and Listening—there is no exam.
Courses are delivered in community venues across Telford during school term time, with both morning and afternoon sessions available.
Please bring any certificates or evidence of your existing Maths or English qualifications. You may be offered a course on a different day or at a different level to ensure the best fit for you.
If English is not your first language, our ESOL courses may be more suitable.
Please only register your interest in one course—our tutors will help you choose the right option during your information session.
This course runs for 17 weeks.
This course will be on Wednesdays 12:30-2:45
